They're always so busy.
Started the day with a dash to head office for a usual work exchange, the back home to try and find a new vet's. Did loads of work, phoned the bank to sort their cock up from Saturday - they took money from my account rather than Charlie's, confirmed my appointment with Oxfordshire Business Enterprises tomorrow and managed to miss the tummy tub supplier. Phone the new bank to see how application process was coming along and was told to call for an update tomorrow.
Charlie did 6 pages of Miquon red this morning and 3 English tasks - which was impressive. He's done lots of independent stuff on pulley systems and heaps of reading today.
We had lunch and I did yet more work and then we left for the new vet's.
Poor Monty is not well at all. He has mange which the vet said he must be susceptible to as he had it when he was taken into rescue and was treated fully, yet has been treated for it monthly with Advocate ever since! He also had a blood profile taken and has to go back tomorrow at 8am for a fasting test for B12, Folate and something else I can't remember - TPI I think.
She said that we have to find out why he is so tiny, hence the tests so we can check food absorption etc all organ functions will be checked too and he might also have skin scrapings tomorrow.
He's got pro-biotics and anti-biotics to take and she gave him an injection too. He might also need steriods and more anti-biotics when the tests come back!
He's lost all the weight we got back on him and has lost some too - he's now only 18.9kgs. It's not looking very good really - poor little guy :(
