Got back from Harrogate Nursery Fair late last night, it was really, saw lots of lovely new stock lines, some seriously innoventive stuff and of course experienced the usual "unveiling" of new products - mostly wheeled goods and car seats but some toys and other stuff too. We were both utterly knackered - it is really hard work trouping round 200 or so stands and we've come back with a pile of brochures and price lists about 10 inches high! We were obvious trade show newbies, you could tell the veterans - they had little wheelie suitcases for the brochures!
Found out from a couple of new companies that new VAT regs are taking 6 weeks to come through as they have a backlog!
Positively identified at least a dozen or so new lines we'll stock eventually and I sucessfully managed to negotiate with a company that have actually closed to taking on new retailers.
Harrogate itself was rather lovely - our room was on the top (11th)floor of the hotel after I blagged an upgraded room, and we had the most glorious view out over the town. Had a glorious meal on Saturday night after a spot of shopping.
Charlie had a great time at my parents and on our return we got lovely presents each.
We were so exhausted that we went to bed at 10.55 - seriously early for me.
Woke at 9.15 this morning and went to the office to collect a huge pile of work. Came home to find Charlie doing more Miquon maths and he then spent the afternoon designing our garden. He and I then went to pick up the puppy from the kennels, he was rather pleased to see us.
Home to yet more work and packing of orders. Been a busy 24 hours in that respect.
Must remember to find time to sort out the Sonlight and SOTW stuff tonight so Charlie can carry on with it tomorrow.

Web site is still being designed Joyce - won't be ready for a while so only on ebay atm and no toys on there yet, just boring bread and butter baby equipment. :)
