Nice, relaxing PJ's day today. Didn't sleep very well for various reasons and so was grateful of the usual lie-in Charlie gives me until 10am. I spent some time checking out some new veggie recipes and doing my usual meal planning and ordered the Organic Fruit and Veg boxes and included some eggs. We were glad to see that Riverford still deliver in this area so ordered their largestv veg box with their largest fruit box too. I found a local company 15 odd miles away that do the same thing, so we'll give them a go next week and decide which we prefer. Will certainly save carrying such heavy bags from the supermarket, although the nectar points will suffer. Couldn't find any organic meat boxes though, will have to carry on getting those from Sainsbury's.
Found a Soya Milk maker on eBay last night, which intrigued me. Charlie's been on soya milk and yogs since last summer and the change in his psoriasis has been amazing. After we switched, his back, shoulders, legs and arms cleared in about 10 days. He still gets it on his scalp but since moving here (different water?) that has been better too. He get's through a lot of the stuff though, and at £1.09 a carton with at least 3 cartons a week, and the fact we are always running out or having to tell him he can't have any at bedtime if he wants breakfast, is beginning to be a pain. Seriously considering investing in a digital one at a cost of about £80 for convenience.
I've done some more work this afternoon in an attempt to make up the time missed when we were at Lloyds on Thursday. Charlie and I made some rice crispie cakes too, which was fun, he managed to spill a lot of goldern syrup!
We've sold 3 items on eBay this weekend, making a total of 5 items in a week so far, which we're pleased with, especially as there are many identical items apart from ours. I've always maintained that its the way your listings look that can make the difference. We're just waiting for Sadie to do the template design and we can replace the Bigger Bids ones we're using at the moment. Also spent some time on opening a WordPress blog for the business after the original got wiped the other day by mistake!
