Ikea, stamps and crates

So Tuesday was Ikea day and I came away a very happy lady. Didn't manage to get any curtains for my bedroom as they now make them 10 million cm long and expect you to hem them yourself to the required length - hem them? Are they mad?! However, I did manage to get the lovely white storage boxes I wanted so overall was very happy.

I can't remember what we did on Wednesday but I do know Charlie didn't do his normals, or anything much for that matter.

Thursday we went to Oxford with my mum. I still can't get over how many people are constantly at the shops and not at work. It was easily as bad as a normal Saturday and apart from a couple of groups of Brazilian school kids, they weren't many tourists.

Yesterday was just work and boring stuff. Finally managed to get the picking/packing software to do everything it actually needs to do which will save L SO much time. Also got given a CV of someone whom would like to apply for the part timer position so that is a relief as the dregs of society have been the only ones to apply so far. Would you give a job to someone who wrote "ere u go" in an email applying for a job? That was ALL they wrote too!

Finally gave in and went to the pet shop to get a crate for overnight use. Dogs taken to it well and no accidents this morning thank god, so all worked like I knew it would.

The next few weeks are going to be a bit manic with interviewing and working intensely with a developer to map out the new stock control & business admin system web app. It's going to be a huge undertaking but hopefully when it is all set up it will save hours and hours of work each week and mean that everything is now automated.

Charlie has been manically doing stuff with his stamps. I am sick to the teeth of hearing about them already - really not that interesting to me!
