Suitcases and most importantly hordes of camera equipment all packed safely (so grateful I did the majority of it last Sunday before I got ill) now and we're off to Gatwick tomorrow to take full advantage of Virgin's Twylight Check-in to bag the seats we really want and a nice overnight stay at the Sofitel at the airport, before jetting off on Monday morning.
Charlie is beside himself with excitement about all the bits he does know about and there are plenty of surprises that he doesn't! Can't believe he will be 9 when we return - how did that happen??
Florida, here we come - "see" you all in 3 and bit weeks!
